This thing. Last seen in the workshop of my local Smart specialist, now outside his door.

Kinja'd!!! Kinja'd!!!

Smart Roadster rear subframe with engine, gearbox and suspension attached to trike bits. Note no apparent pedals. It’s an automatic so there’s a R-N-D switch on the dash and I had assumed brake levers but now that I look I don’t see any so stopping is something of a conundrum. I see what seems to be a pedal below the right indicator but it looks very awkwardly placed.

Note also what lo oks like the original Smart hand brake lever to the right of the seat.

I’d rather have a Smart Roadster

In the first pic, right below the stacked lights, there’s a chrome lever of some sort, looks like it might be accessible by a foot, so that might be the brake.

I’m liking the intake scoops either side of the driver seat.

Yes, that’s the one I was talking about it, below the indicators and light . In the absence of anything else and assuming Flintstones type braking isn’t being used it must be the brake.

I didn’t think it was possible to make a Smart car more useless but there you go
